SHARE Christ is our new evangelism ministry, being launched this Fall by Pastor Jason Clubine. To kick off the ministry, we are partnering with ShareWord Global and hosting their one-day Evangelism Workshop. When we hear the word evangelism, some of us may get excited, while others may immediately feel fear, thinking it's not something they can do. Whatever your comfort level, the training provided at the workshop is for all believers and will help you build the skills you need to share the gospel and overcome your fear as you trust in the Lord. We want our whole church to be able to confidently share our faith in everyday life with the people around us. How amazing would it be for you to lead someone to Christ this year? Together, let's grow our church by telling others about Jesus.
To attend the workshop, all you need to do is sign up at church in the Fellowship Hall and come prepared to learn how to tell others about Jesus. A sub lunch and drinks will be provided. If you would rather have something else, feel free to bring your own lunch.
The SHARE Christ Evangelism Ministry hopes that you will take the following three steps this year:
Be Trained
Learn to share the gospel in your everyday life by attending the Evangelism Workshop led by ShareWord Global on October 3 from 9:30 am to 2 pm.
Be Committed
Join our SHARE Christ Evangelism Team this year by signing the commitment card and commit yourself to using the training you received to tell others about Jesus and invite them to church as the Holy Spirit empowers you.
Be Encouraged
Receive ongoing encouragement to share your faith by attending the SHARE Christ Evangelism Ministry meetings. The first of three meetings is on Sunday, October 18, from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.
