The Discipleship Pathway
We believe that each step along the path is a step of faith that needs to be taken to live an active life of discipleship with Jesus. At the center of the path is the hub of our ministry: Corporate Worship. Corporate Worship is where we, as the visible body of Christ, gather to worship God through Jesus Christ and be built up in love and faith. Our desire is to be a church that walks along this pathway together.
Steps of Discipleship
Accept Christ:
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
Grow in Christ:
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.” 2 Peter 1:5-7
Commit to Christ:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
Serve Christ:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
Share Christ:
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Mark 8:34
