There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. But what if we could find real hope which delivers on its promise? Hope Explored invites you to discover the lasting hope, peace and purpose that Jesus offers.

What is Hope Explored?

Hope Explored is a three-session series about the person and work of Jesus and the hope found in him.

If I attend Hope Explored, what should I expect?

The Hope Explored series will be hosted in the auditorium of Victory Baptist Church by Pastor Jason Clubine, and the Hope Explored team. There will be round tables set up for everyone to gather around. At each table, there will be a leader who will lead the group discussions. Each session will begin with refreshments and friendly conversation, followed by a short welcome and prayer from Pastor Jason. If you are new to prayer, don’t worry; all you need to do is listen. 

After the welcome, we will watch a short film (approx. 6mins) that introduces the session’s theme, and then we will discuss the theme around our tables. After that, we will watch a second film (approx. 18 mins) that teaches on an aspect of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection and then we will explore and discuss what the Bible tells us with our table group.

Each participant will receive a handbook with discussion and study questions. Please know there is no pressure to participate in the discussions; you can sit and listen if you like. We also want you to feel comfortable asking whatever questions you may have. If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it. If you don’t have a Bible, don’t worry, we will provide one.

Do I need to know anything about Jesus to attend?

No, this series does not require you to have any previous knowledge of Jesus. It is an introduction to him and his work.

Do I need to attend all three sessions?

To get the most out of the course, we ask that you attend all three sessions as each study builds on the next. However, if you decide it is not for you after the first one, we will understand and be glad you joined us.

On the night the course starts, where do I go?

Drive behind the church to find our parking lot. The entrance you will go in is at the back of the building. We will greet you and show you into the auditorium, where we will meet.

When is Hope Explored being offered?

Date: Tuesday, April 16th, 23rd & 30th.

Time: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Location: Victory Baptist Church

Do I need to sign up for the course?

Yes, we ask that everyone signs up. There is no cost to participate, but we would like to know who is planning to attend so that we will be prepared.

What if I am interested but unable to attend when the course is offered?

If you are interested but need a different date, we would be happy to follow up with you to see if there is another time for you to attend the course.
